Bhindi is one of my favourite vegetables and it’s been a part of my regular meals since I was a kid. I like it best with some onion-tomato and spices while my sister likes it best simple. No fuss. Super easy. This is a version of her favourite way to make bhindi 🙂
Coffee Brownies
You know what makes chocolate even more chocolate-y? Coffee! It adds a nice depth of flavour, balances some of the sweetness and makes the dessert even better! Trust me!
I love baking brownies and have a few variations of the classic one on the blog. An easy way to amp up the brownie is definitely by adding some good ol’ coffee to the mix! Dark, intense, fudgy and divine – these are a must-try!

Hariyali Chicken Tikka
Growing up in Delhi, tikkas and kebabs were always the go-to appetizers for special outings or occasions. We didn’t make them at home as such, but always OD-ed on them when given the chance. There is a such a vast variety of kebabs to try, each delicious in their own way. I love the hariyali chicken Tikka because it is moist and tasty but not overly spicy. It is also doubly delicious thanks to all the herbs in the marinade 🥰

Lobia Curry (Black Eyed Peas Curry)
Legumes are a staple in North Indian diets and we tend to eat them in some form or the other a couple of times a week. At least. The most popular ones are rajma and chole but lobia is pretty tasty too.

Almond-Semolina Lemon Loaf
I love lemon in desserts and am a recent fan of almond flour in baking. So when I found a recipe that combines the two, I had to try it! To make it even more exciting, this is a Yottam Ottolenghi recipe! He is one of the most famous chefs for middle eastern food (my hummus recipe is also adapted from one of his).I give full credit to MasterChef Australia for introducing me to the wonders of Ottolenghi’s food (and so many other chefs too).
