Hello, fellow cookie fans! I’ve been baking variations of chocolate chip cookies for the most part, but suddenly felt like I needed a change. I need a little chocolate double dose. A beautiful balance of thick, chewy cookie with oodles of chocolate and some crunchy bits π
And voila!
These cookies are super easy to make and extremely easy to gorge on as well! So pace yourself π
There is cocoa in the dough so that there is a dark chocolate flavour in each bite, interspersed with generous amounts of walnuts and chocolate chips for fun and extra flavour π
The batter is thick and a little sticky, so it can be fiddly to work with and shape. Do the best you can, but don’t fuss about it too much. Just try to keep the sizes and shapes similar across cookies so that they bake evenly.
Be generous with those flecks of sea salt, they really elevate the cookie. Dark, sweet, salty, chewy and altogether delicious! What more does one want from a cookie? π
You can have these cookies as is or along with your tea/coffee. They aren’t too sweet but are enough to make you a wee bit happier than you were π
So who is ready to get baking and devour these little parcels of goodness? π
