In my quest to learn more about dough and try to conquer my fears, I find myself constantly going back to galettes. They are easier versions of pies, equally delicious and a good way to get started on the dough journey.

It is the season for those lovely red carrots! Which means lots of carrot desserts 🙂 I usually end up baking a classic carrot cake or simple carrot muffins, but this time I decided to switch things up by trying a gluten free version, loaded with walnuts and chocolate chips. And oh my god! It is so good!

Honey and soy are a great combination – the umaminess balances the sweetness and to me, is a signature flavour from Chinese cuisine. I used that as a base to make this baked chicken dish, inspired by several such chicken dishes I’ve had over the years.

I love hummus! My basic recipe is easy, creamy, delicious and super versatile. This version is slightly jazzed up with the addition of roasted red bell peppers to make it extra special 🙂

This is my favourite cake to bake this time of year. It’s chocolatey, boozy, soft and delicious! Perfect festive cake and just feels very Christmassy to me 🙂
