Welcome to another chapter from my childhood stories! This raw mango drink is very common in Bihar and is something my grandmom used to make for us every summer, when we were kids.

The first cookie recipe I posted on this blog was a peanut butter one and my most popular cookie is the thick chocolate chip one. So what could be better than a beautiful blend of the two? 🙂 Also, peanut butter and chocolate are a match made in heaven!

If you had to pick a favourite between shellfish and fish, what would you pick? I’m on team shellfish. Give me some prawns, crab, clams any day. Don’t get me wrong, I like fish too, but I just find shellfish tastier, fresher, easier to eat (yes my laziness has a tiny role to play in this decision).
If there is a prawn curry on the menu, I will usually try it. Goan prawn curry is on of my favourites! When in Goa, must have this in every shack/restaurant I visit.

Mint is one of those herbs that works beautifully in both sweet and savoury dishes. I’ve not played around with it much yet, but was inspired when I went plant shopping and saw this lovely mint plant. It smelt so bright and fresh that I had to buy it! I subsequently ended up killing it somehow (someone please teach me how to take care of plants!), but the idea had formed by then. The first thing that had popped into my mind when I smelt that mint was how it would pair the best with chocolate. What could be better than brownies which have these two flavours in each divine bite?

It’s mango season! Best time of the year 🙂 One of the only redeemable things about the summer! (Yes, I’m one of those who don’t like summer)
Mango with skin, without skin, diced, whole, in dessert, in salad, as ice cream – so many ways to devour this fruit. I personally love cold mangoes, they just taste so much better. So when I was planning a dinner for some friends recently, I knew there had to be a cold mango dessert on the menu. Not only will it taste good, it will also save me the hassle of being around a hot oven on a hot day. Win win!
I looked around for a few no bake recipes and landed on this one by Richa, which seemed super easy. I modified it a little and found myself with this glorious no bake mango cheesecake mousse! It has got to be one of the best things I’ve made!
