Strawberries are my absolute favourite fruit! Sweet, tangy, juicy and delicious! I can eat a whole lot just as is, but also love cooking with them (like this cake and galette). So when a friend taught me how to make jam without using preservatives, I knew I had to make a big batch and share the recipe with you 🙂

Pear & Ginger Upside Down Cake
I’ve always been fascinated by upside down cakes. The caramel-y fruit that is so easy to cut through, the soft crumb and the beautiful combination of fresh and baked fruits. What’s not to love?
I tried baking a plum upside down cake once and it was a disaster (I need to remake and fix :)) and while baking this cake, it looked like another disaster was in the offing. But, lo and behold, it turned out perfectly ♥️♥️

Jammu Style Rajma
Rajma is one of my all time favourite things to eat! I can eat it everyday (as long as it is well made of course) 🙂
So why has it taken me this long to post a rajma recipe here? Well , I have a few go-to recipes but somehow I’ve never ended up taking nice photographs of them (either too dark or too hungry!) and I think it’s also because I wanted to share some other recipes that I make less often or have discovered recently. Plus everyone has a good rajma recipe, so maybe I felt it wasn’t needed. Well, things change! I now want to share my favourite rajma recipes with you for you to experience my love even more!
Starting with this Jammu style rajma which I discovered rather late in life, but absolutely love!

Peanut Butter Swirl Brownies
You know I love a nice, fudgey brownie. It’s one of those beautiful indulgences I allow myself every now and then. I have a few brownies recipes on the blog and will keep experimenting with new ones to add to the repertoire! Always good to keep things fresh, right? 🙂 This new recipe combines chocolate and peanut butter – what a divine combo! Gorgeous swirls of peanut butter through a dark, decadent brownie. Yum Yum Yum! 😍😍

Tahini Banana Choco-chip Muffins
As the year comes to an end, I figure I should share a quick, easy, relatively healthy dessert recipe for you to bring in 2020 with 🙂
These muffins are super easy to make and are loaded with all the good flavour bombs – banana, chocolate and tahini- bound together with whole wheat flour. Yum!
